I once had a vision. A milky sea of creation and a golden sky. This acted as a backdrop for a swirling world forming from the sea and the sky...

The vision could be linked to the Hindu creation story. the story refers to the "Churning of the Sea of Milk."

Set at the beginning of the Golden Age, the Churning of the Sea of Milk explains how the forces of light (devas) and darkness (asuras) once worked together to generate the elixir of immortality that the Hindu scriptures call the amrita. At the beginning of the world, the devas fought bitterly with the asuras for a thousand years.

Cat People - 4 Dreams

Dream 1: 24th July 08

I was exploring a jungle type of environment. I came across a clearing with a cave. The entrance of the gave sported a mask human and feline in its appearance. It also served as a release for a water stream or small waterfall from its mouth. This mask appeared to be carved out of the rock to the side of the entrance. Inside the cave there was a large "room". The room had pillars and on each of the walls there had been carved a recess. The recesses were humanoid in shape. inside each or these recesses were single channels that culminated into a round shallow bowl shape. The perimeters of these recesses were   decorated with 5 round carved indentations. One at the apex one at each shoulder and one each side adjacent to where the wrists would be.

Sounds like Yucatan, or Usumacinta river bordering Mexico and Guatemala. Similar anthropomorphic mouth entrance found at Piedras Negres, the supposed site of one of Edgar Cayce’s three Halls of Records (see the cover of Greg and Lora Little’s THE LOST HALL OF RECORDS). Not sure about waterfall though.


Dream 2: 26th July 08

I could suddenly see a row of "Royal" beings sitting on "thrones". They had a stately air about them. Their eyes were engaging/magnetic/frightening in that they seemed to be able to transfix me. they kept my attention. I became aware of how their faces were constructed - focused on one of them. She had green eyes - stunning. The head was constructed from overlapping folds that formed  the face shape, these could unfold and reform. The attention was dropped and i became aware of a group of people at a distance. they were a different "race" they were more primitive. These people knew the cat people. They were making marks/drawings on the wall...these were representations of the cat people.

Again, typical of Mesoamerican cultures. Jaguars featured heavily in their beliefs and practices.
(Also, I have recently discovered: Also on a carved tablet - "The Dallas Tablet" from that area there is depicted....."The woman on the viewer's right stands atop a battle palanquin of the kind that Maya rulers rode during important ceremonies and into battle with their armies. The enormous jaguar beast looming behind her is a variant of the sun jaguar war gods worshiped by the Maya throughout their history.

The woman wears a special headdress that was introduced into the Maya region from highland Mexico in the fourth century A.D., along with a major war god called in ancient Mayan, Waxaklaju'n u B'aah Chan, or "Eighteen Snake Heads." Although a foreign deity, this being became the standard god of war among the Classic Maya. The head of this jaguar beast is, in fact, that of the Mexican war god in question. As paired with the birthing shrine on the viewer's left, the presentation of the battle palanquin refers to the role of royal women in bringing war gods into this world to wreak havoc on their enemies.

While worn and eroded, the hieroglyphic inscription on the Dallas Tablet provide critical insights into the history of Sak Nikte' and its relationship to the great Kan Kingdom to the north. The text refers to the arrivals of three royal "Snake" women at Sak Nikte', in A.D. 520, 677, and 721. Given that all three women are said to have arrived at Sak Nikte' from the Kan capital, it is likely that these are images of the actual palanquins they would have rode into the site, bringing with them the powers of Creation and War.") - the above extract from www.archaeology.org

 

Dream 3: 28th September 08

I was walking up a leafy lane and became aware of a hill in front of me. The top of the hill was shaped like a lion. I was then aware that I sensed had a vision about a village of low white walled, flat roofed buildings. There were two groups of people. One group was in one of the building, talking, crowded. they wore white. I could see them through a large dark square window.  The other group were outside in the "streets" they wore long flowing robes...then I became aware of a "key". The key was part of a design in a bronze/copper? lozenge. It had three swallows/swifts at the top and the key head looked like a tree...the teeth of the key looked like two lion heads back to back.

I woke up and said Lion Hill - Lionell - Lion-El  

Only Lion Hill in Britain is Lanarkshire. Red Lion Hill in Derbyshire. Bronze lozenge sounds like the bronze lozenge found in Bush Barrow not far from Stonehenge. Check it out online. No swallows or swifts however.

 

 

 

Dream 4: 16th Oct 08

I was on a boat drifting into a port on a lake. It was a sub/tropical lakes in a mountainous region. the buildings were pale with flat roofs. There was some kind of open stone temple there with a sanctuary that housed an apple tree. The tree was perfect.  The lake was very still and fringed with posts dedicated with cat head masks (metallic). the township was partly built and appeared devoid of people...I have the feeling this was in another time although I felt I was contemporary to this time in the dream.

Suspect equitorial Africa and Kenya’s Lake Victoria seems likely. I think this region was the point of emergence of modern humans, and is very important in understanding the evolution of religion. Something about it in THE NEW CIRCLEMAKERS out in January (editor- 2009).

I suppose the drawings do not fit acurately with the given images here but they do have some commonality.
