What was the inspiration for creating the elixirs?
For a long time I have been interested in the use of crystals for health and well being. We use crystals a lot at home, for creating calmness, for helping with sleep and dreams, improving communication, health and beauty and of course dowsing. In talking with friends it seems that many of use crystals but it is not always easy to find good elixirs. So I started experimenting with my own gem elixirs and then developed into the crystal and essential oil range.

Why are there seven?

Apart from being a divine number! The original idea was to create a crystal elixir for each of the 7 chakras. We have been using and selling crystal chakra sets, and know that sometimes it is really hard to keep the crystals balanced, so putting the crystals into elixirs seems the obvious next step. Friends who are Reiki practitioners had suggested they would like something they could use with their clients too.
The Elixirs are called:
ILLUMINATO
INTUITO
ESPRESSIONE
FELICITA
POTENZA
CONESSIONE
ESSERE

What is the process of making the Elixirs?
I wanted to create something that was powerful and worked well. So I began researching what essential oils complimented the gem stones and chakras. From this extensive work, I began experimenting using different gemstones blended with different essential oils. Each gem stone was given a conscious and focussed intention. The elixirs were blended during different phases of the moon to see which were the most potent. Then it was a case of guinea pigs (not the most polite term for family and friends) testing out the different elixirs, collecting their responses and finally using my own crystal “Ermintrude” to dowse for the best combinations. Finally the gem stone elixir is blended with the right oils and small gem stones are added to each bottle.

What about the labels do they have a meaning or significance?
Of course, Nat and I worked together to research appropriate sigils for the bottles, using glass bottles of sympathetic colours for the chakras and ancient astronomical sigils reflecting some of the aspects of the chakra the elixir is designed to work with. The names of course are Italian words that again reflect the essence of the elixir.

So how do you use them?

Reiki practitioners use them by massaging them onto the body at the appropriate chakra point. If they are just working on one chakra they can burn them on an incense burner or place them on warm stones or crystals on that part of the body.
They can also be used in the bath, as drops on your pillow, in bowls of water or a drop or two added to a candle. Whilst none of the gem stones used are toxic, we strongly recommend that the elixirs are not ingested
